A longer stay begins with ordinary domestic arrangements. Peaks Place describes apartments with a kitchen, dining and living space, bedroom, bathroom and balcony. That layout earns it a place on a workation shortlist: it allows meals and downtime to happen at home. It does not establish an ergonomic desk, acoustic privacy or a connection that will support a particular working day.

Laax’s hunting-season notice closes the Val gl’Uors section of the Runca Trail and the B7–C3 section of the Nagens Trail from 16:45 during 21–30 September, with signposted diversions. These are specified trail sections, not a closure of the whole mountain. A late ride needs to fit that timetable; apartment flexibility cannot remove a route restriction.

Before booking for work, request the proposed unit’s table or desk arrangement, a recent connection test and an explanation of where a second person could take a call. The published apartment description supports a stay to test, not a proven office.

It is a comparison point rather than another new listing in this issue. Someone choosing between a serviced room and a self-contained apartment should ask which part of the day needs separation: cooking, calls or simply the laptop after dinner. The answers may favour different formats.
