Zuoz

A preserved Engadin village with family skiing, cultural institutions and strong rail access.

Zuoz has one of the Upper Engadin's most coherent historic centres, with sgraffito façades and broad village squares. The Zuoz/Pizzet ski area is smaller and family-oriented, while the railway keeps St. Moritz and the rest of the valley within reach.

Outside skiing, the village supports golf, the Zuoz Globe cultural programme and access to walking and rafting routes along the Inn. It does not have a large public thermal complex; wellness access is mainly through individual hotels and should be checked before arrival.

RhB trains serve Zuoz. The old centre rises slightly above the station; local ski lifts are on the opposite side of the village.
