St. Moritz is the best-connected base in the Upper Engadin and the region's main concentration of hotels, galleries and services. Corviglia rises directly above town; for evergreen copy, AlpeanGlow avoids quoting a piste total because current official pages use different figures.

Useful non-ski anchors include OVAVERVA, with five pools and a 1,620-square-metre spa, and the Segantini Museum. Lake walks link towards Celerina and the Staz forest. The town has two distinct centres, Dorf and Bad, so accommodation location matters for railway, lift and pool access.
