Lower Engadin's thermal-bath centre, with Motta Naluns above and National Park country nearby.
Scuol is the main service and transport centre of the Lower Engadin. The municipality also includes Ardez, Ftan, Guarda, Sent and Tarasp and borders Swiss National Park country. Motta Naluns rises directly above the railway station, with live lift and piste information published by the destination.
Bogn Engiadina is the defining all-weather facility, with six mineral-water pools documented by the operator. Beyond the baths, Scuol is a base for historic villages, the Inn valley, Tarasp and excursions towards the National Park. Accommodation labels should state the exact village rather than using Scuol for the whole municipality.
RhB trains reach Scuol-Tarasp via the Vereina route. PostBus connections continue to Sent, Ftan, Tarasp, Guarda and National Park routes.
