Rachel Moret and Lionel Hardmeier claimed the singles titles at the Swiss National Championships 2025 held at the Tissot Arena in Biel/Bienne from February 2-3. The tournament attracted 300 competitors, signaling a successful return after the previous championships were canceled due to COVID-19.

Dominant Performances in Singles Finals

In the women’s singles final, Rachel Moret demonstrated her clear superiority by defeating Nina Tullii with a commanding 4-0 victory (11-6, 11-5, 11-5, 11-5). The men’s singles final featured a thrilling battle between Lionel Hardmeier and Dorian Girod. The doubles competitions were equally compelling. In the women’s doubles, Rachel Moret paired with Mireille Kroon to defeat Isabelle Joubeily and Nina Tullii 3-1 (11-9, 9-11, 11-7, 11-6). The men’s doubles title went to the partnership of Dorian Girod and Barish Moullet, who emerged victorious against Pedro Osiro and Elias Hardmeier with a 3-0 sweep (11-9, 11-9, 11-9).

The mixed doubles crown was claimed by Dorian Girod and Rachel Moret, who overcame Pedro Osiro and Mireille Kroon 3-1 (11-7, 11-5, 9-11, 11-9) to complete the tournament’s competitive events.

Jean-Pascal Stancu, representing Swiss Table Tennis, expressed his satisfaction with the championships, particularly highlighting the quality of the venue and the excellent organization provided by both the federation and local organizers.
