The long stay, item by item

Flims Laax’s joint sales initiative, reported on 9 October, aims to bring more international business into longer stays and quieter periods. Me and All Hotel Flims is among the participating hotels. A joint sales effort is not itself an improved room, but it is a useful prompt to look at what an extended visit would involve.

The 2 King Beds Studio has a concrete advantage: 64 square metres with a separate bedroom, an additional king bed in the living area, a kitchen and a dining table. It accommodates up to four. For two people, the arrangement leaves more scope to separate sleeping and daytime activity; using both beds changes that balance.

Hyatt’s room page states that final cleaning is included, while daily service is not. Breakfast, spa and gym access are extra and subject to availability. These exclusions make comparison with a conventional hotel room more honest: quote the stay with the services actually wanted.

The table and kitchen justify considering it for a working week. They do not establish an office. Connection performance, chair comfort and call privacy have not been verified. Ask about those before committing to meeting-heavy days, and test the room on a short stay if work is the main purpose.

Compared with the mountain hut below, the studio offers control over meals and daily routine. Its most persuasive feature is ordinary usefulness, provided the cost of adding hotel services still suits the plan.
